first item is a Beach Hut Clear Sunscreen Spray.

i bought this about over a month ago because the family went swimming in Laguna. the reason i bought this is because it's proudly Filipino made. :-)
this sunblock also has lots of advantages over its competitors as it's:
a) clear (not like those white lotion formula)
b) in spray form (easier to apply and not messy/sticky/greasy at all)
c) has spf 36
d) UVA/UVB protection
e) price is reasonable

if you are considering buying a sunblock why not check this out? :-) i bought mine at Rustan's supermarket but i suppose it is available at other department stores and drug stores. not sure though if they market outside of Philippines.
next item is St. ives Mud Miracle.

i was on a hunt for a good conditioner since i can't seem to find Opal Coconut Hot Oil with Aloe Vera anywhere when i saw this GT highly raved conditioner at Cash and Carry supermarket in Makati.
i must say it tames unruly hair although i am not sure about strengthening my hair. the amount of hair i loss on a daily basis is pretty much the same. :-( i don't like the smell as well - smells like old lady perfume, which bugs me everytime i use it. i'd have to use it all up to know the real deal.
this item i've been searching everywhere and just chanced upon at Daiso, a japanese home centre store that sells everything in it for S$2 - a mascara guard. i don't really know how this thing should suppose to work in detail but i know that it's suppose to help you apply mascara easily and avoid smudging it onto your skin.

have yet to use it so i'll feedback on that when i do.
i also finally exchanged my 18 MAC containers for 3 MAC lipsticks. i was initially thinking of getting A Rose Romance, Bubbles and Impassioned but the SA told me that their store can only let me choose on permanent colors. :-( so i swatched all colors that caught my eye and i settled for Bombshell, Politely Pink and Fresh Brew.

i haven't tried any of them yet, will supply swatches later.
my Lumiere prebuy brushes - angled duo fiber, duo fiber, large flat top and long handled kabuki - also came a few days before i left for Singapore and i was elated upon opening the package! i regret not hoarding a lot as i thought i will be taxed if my orders exceed US$50! Lumiere didn't declare the exact amount of the brushes and if i got more i probably could've gotten away with paying the taxes. *sigh* oh well, at least i have one each of what i like. :-D

on a side note, i'd like to shout out "Whoop, whoop!" to USPS for using recycled paper! ;) save Mother Earth indeed!
i've washed them before using them and there was no shedding on any of the brushes. there was also no bleeding during washing but minimal bleeding when drying off excess water with cloth prior to air drying. they are all soft and dense. they also came with brush covers which are good for travelling and sanitary purposes. the most important and exciting part about them is that they were totally cheap yet great value for money.

i know for sure i will join their prebuy if they hold another one!
lastly, the hubby bought me (after nagging him LOL) a Ralph Lauren Romance (summer edition) supposedly his gift for our 11th year bf-gf anniversary last 30th April and Mother's Day as well. got it for S$119 and the SA gave me the bath & shower gel and body moisturizer as freebies.

i am totally in love with fragrances like this, very romantic indeed. i am into perfumes like this, not the citrusy or flowery ones (like Victoria Secret, which my SIL loves). the very first perfume i fell in love with is Moschino Couture and i love it still. :-D
i actually want to hoard a lot more but since it's recession and the hubby and i are both unemployed currently, that is not a wise option. i've been meaning to get Milani runway eyeshadows and blushes as they are available here as well as some neutral MAC eyeshadows but i'm dreaming about them for now hehe. we'll see. i hope i land on a job soon. wish me luck and please pray for me!
plus tard!
